I wrote the first record the way I lived it. My first stirrings of love and affection in songs Goldmine, Life of the Party, R.B.J., and also the song that started everything — Angelina. They were all written before I cast aside the farm life. It took a lot of determination (had to sell a few more cows than I wanted) to get this album made. It was thanks to the huge heart of Jerry Martin and many supporters in the community around Rocky-view and Cochrane Albrerta.
